Childcare Buddy for iPhone and iPad

Keep your childcare search moving.

Build a shortlist, track every application, and share the work with another parent so forms, emails, and follow-ups do not get missed.

Search. Track. Follow up.

Keep every application in one place.

Childcare searches can involve dozens of providers, different application steps, and months of follow-up. Childcare Buddy helps two parents share that work and see what needs attention next.

Search for providers, track applications, and share one plan at home.

What it does

A shared plan for the whole search.

Search British Columbia child care providers by your child's age, the schedule you need, and the area you can reach.

See where provider information came from and when it was last updated.

Track each application by stage, next action, owner, and due date.

Estimate the extra travel time a provider adds to the commute you already make, morning and evening.

Draft outreach in the app and send it yourself from your own mail app.

Share the household's plan with one other parent through iCloud, with no account to create.

How it works

Search. Track. Follow up.

Search

Build a shortlist from public British Columbia child care data and see whether each provider fits your child's age and schedule.

Track

Move providers from considering to contacted, applied, waiting, tour, offer, or enrolled so both parents see the same status.

Follow up

Spot overdue tasks, unanswered messages, and applications that still need confirmation.

Clear expectations

No predicted wait times or guaranteed places.

Childcare Buddy does not predict your waitlist position, wait time, or chance of getting a place. It shows a position only when a provider gives one to you, and that information stays private to your household.

Travel times are estimates and show when they were calculated. If directions are unavailable, the app clearly shows a straight-line distance instead.
